Required Courses:
The minor in art history, theory and criticism is designed to prepare students to:
- Recognize major achievements in the history of art, including the works and intentions of leading artists in the past and present, and demonstrate the way art reflects cultural values.
- Compare and contrast developments in the history of art across periods and cultures.
A grade of “C” or better is required in each required course. Minimum of nine upper division art history hours required.
