Special Education Minor (Non-Licensure)

The minor in Special Education is designed to prepare teachers, physical educators, counselors, and professionals to work with individuals with exceptional needs in educational, therapeutic, and recreational settings. Candidates should understand that this 18 hour course of study fulfills MSU Denver’s requirements for a minor, but it does not lead to licensure. A grade of C- or better is required for each course in this program to count toward the minor. Admission to the School of Education will be required to complete this minor.
