Urban Agriculture Minor

Earning a certificate in Urban Agriculture will provide increased knowledge and understanding of skills as related to the urban agricultural industry and specifically assist anyone wanting to know where their food comes from, what is in their food, and how to grow, raise, harvest, and process a variety of fruits, vegetables, proteins, and cheeses. A Minor/Certificate in Urban Agriculture will give the students skills in food fundamentals, water law, greenhouse operations, agriculture accounting, and farm to table issues.
A grade of “C” or better is required for courses in this program to count toward the bachelor’s degree. Students should note that programs differ in the minimum grade required.
