Service Learning Program

Service Learning is a form of experiential learning in which students combine classroom experience with community based service. Service activities provide a forum for students to meet an identified community need while also gaining understanding and experience related to the course content. It allows student to “learn by doing.”

Beginning in fall 2014, specific classes in the catalog will be identified as having a service learning component. The Service Learning Program at MSU Denver provides mentoring and support to faculty who want to integrate this methodology into their courses.
