NONC 1164 - Introduction to Addictions Counseling

Participants review the required knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be effective counselors. In addition, participants will examine the etiology, assessment and treatment of substance use disorders. Participants also examine ethical and multicultural issues, trauma informed care and clinician self-care.
