Individualized Degree Program

The Individualized Degree Program (IDP) offers students the opportunity to design specific, interdisciplinary degree programs to meet educational goals not met by other majors or minors at the College. Some examples of areas of study include: International Studies, Convergent Journalism, Child & Family Advocacy, Web Development, Emergency Services Management, Creative Arts for the Elderly, Cultural Resource Management, Nonprofit Administration in Urban Communities, Environmental Studies and Public Administration, and Computer Security.

Certificate programs provide opportunities to successfully complete a series of five to eight academic credit courses that focus on a particular area of career interest. Each certificate program is designed to stand alone or merge with your degree program major or minor. The certificate title and date of award will appear on your transcript. The certificate program is coordinated by the Office of Academic and Student Affairs, 303-556-3040.
Students must complete each course in the certificate program with a grade of C or better. The courses cannot be taken pass/fail.
